| POSITION SUMMARY | | The Warehouse Operator 1 is a critical contributor to the production processes throughout the Brewery. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator 1 is trained and able to perform all duties of the warehouse, including but not limited to: receiving trucks, loading trucks, providing production support, building partial pallets utilizing the Bomber/Tygard, conducting inventory counts, utilizing scanners and understanding the WMS system. In addition to these duties, Warehouse Operators are expected to utilize inventory best practices such as: accurate inventory creation, accurate inventory moves, timely cycle counts and adjustments, and prioritization of FIFO during shipping. | | | | | | | |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES | | Essential Duties | • | Performs routine work for the warehouse such as, beer put away, material receiving, loading outbound shipments, building partial pallets, and packaging material staging. | • | Utilizes warehouse programs, systems and tools used for daily operations including Yard Manager, Production Switchboard, Phoenix WMS, production schedules, Point of Sales (POS) warehouse, Bill of Ladings (BOLs), Advance Shipment Notifications (ASNs) and Bill of materials (BOMs) | • | Certified and proficient in operations of department forklifts, Layer forming tools (tyguard/bomber), pallet wrapper, print and apply stations, squeeze clamp tool, pallet flipper and forklift battery exchange. | • | Demonstrates safe work practices | • | Adjusts material and finished goods inventory, manages FIFO warehousing best practices, and conducts cycle counts using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve inventory accuracy KPI’s. | • | Works cross-functionally across departments as needed, including but not limited to: Packaging – to stage material, move material, support keg line, Quality – performing visual quality checks on inbound material loads, and dispositioning raw material and finished good holds. Brewing – to receive and organize raw materials (Mills River only). Brewery Support – for housekeeping and recycle programs. Supply Chain – to manage raw material inventory, order fulfillment and partial pallet orders. | • | Contributes to mobile equipment safety program. Conducts thorough forklift inspections, escalates safety concerns, interacts with Mobile Equipment Specialists to troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment issues, reports property damage and demonstrates ownership until the problem is resolved. | | | |
Additional Responsibilities | • | (Chico, CA requirement only) This role is responsible for production and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Safe Quality Food (SQF) System as defined in the SQF Code. There will be Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and Food Security Training as required by Local, State, Federal and SNBC policies. All duties will be completed in a manner that is consistent with all aspects of Company Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF). Employees shall report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. | | | |
